Bloom Academy FAQ's

Have you signed up for your first Bloom Academy and are wondering what to expect? We have listed some frequently asked questions and answers below but please reach out to us if there is anything we have not addressed!

 

Do I need any prior experience with floral design?

No prior experience required! The Bloom Academy workshops are designed as an entry level, fun filled experience into the world of flowers and design. 

How long is a Bloom Academy workshop?

The workshops are around 2.5 to 3 hours but attendee's are always welcome to stay and visit once we are complete our arrangements!

Who will be leading the class?

The class will be led by Award Winning Designer, Rachel Clingen, along with our team here at Rachel A Clingen Event Design. Rachel will be sharing not only her knowledge on floral design, colour theory, and mechanics, but also about her story and some inside scoop into how our business was formed. 

Is there a dress code for the workshop?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you don't mind getting a little bit dirty. Closed toe shoes are also required for safety while using floral knives and tools.

Will there be any refreshment's provided?

A light refreshment, water, tea, and coffee will be provided. If there are any dietary restrictions please let us know!
