The Bloom Academy: Toronto's Best Flower Workshop

Have you ever wanted to know more about flowers, how we make our flower arrangements, or just wanted something fun to do with your friends? The Bloom Academy is a great place to be! Our flower workshop, The Bloom Academy, is taught by Rachel herself, as well as our lead flower designer Kim. Each attendee is welcomed with smiles and excitement, having the chance to mingle and meet other attendees before the class begins.

Each Bloom Academy class begins by Rachel and Kim teaching attendees the basics of flower mechanics, flower care and treatment, as well as a few styling tips to make your arrangement beautiful. You’ll be provided with all the materials you need, from flowers and foliage to tools such as cutters, aprons, and our bloom box. Attendees will learn how to make one of our bloom boxes and one hand tied bouquet. You will learn the names of flower varieties as Rachel and Kim take you through the two types of arrangements being made. Members of the Boutique Blooms team will be walking around to assist with any questions or styling advice that might arise during the class.

One thing we love about the Bloom Academy is seeing everyone's personal flair through their flower arrangements. We love meeting each and every person that attends and getting to know them during our short time at the Bloom Academy. We especially love seeing return attendees, catching up with them, and seeing their progress in creating flower arrangements! 

At the end of your time at the Bloom Academy, you’ll not only have a gorgeous floral arrangement to take home but also an abundance of knowledge to use in future projects. You will leave feeling inspired, confident, and ready to tackle your next floral challenge. Most importantly, you'll gain a deeper appreciation for the art of flower arranging, and who knows—you may even develop a new hobby!
